Steel and plastic drums are two of the most common materials handling devices in the world. Drums are often used to transport liquids, chemicals, powders and small components. While they are a convenient solution, the sheer volume of standard drums makes them a handling risk. Bremco aims to mitigate that risk by providing a range of steel drum handling equipment that’s suitable for any worksite.
We supply equipment that is compatible with both steel and mauser style drums.
Our range includes:
With fully welded construction, quality materials and tough powder coated and enamel finishes, our manual drum handling equipment is ready for hard use in any industry. All of our products are tested prior to shipping, and they arrive preassembled for convenience.

Our materials handling devices are suitable for lifting, moving and storing standard containers, and we can supply variants for plastic and steel drums. In addition, if you need equipment that can handle non-standard drums or specific applications, we are also equipped to design a custom solution.

Materials handling drums are a convenient way to store and transport a huge range of liquids, powders and small components. However, standard 200 litre drums often weigh hundreds of kilos, making them a significant risk to the operators on site.
Our manual drum handling equipment is designed to make it easy to lift, move and transport fully loaded drums. Products like the Liftomatic drum handling truck are rated to carry up 454kg, making them suitable for even the heaviest loads. Combined with storage pallets, pallet trucks and our crane lifting attachments, Bremco can significantly reduce the need for heavy lifting onsite.
For safer storage, we also supply spill containment pallets in 3 sizes, as well as IBC containment pallets. These pallets are sized to contain 125% of the volume of the largest vessel, making them an effective insurance policy against accidental spills and damaged drums. Our standard spill containment pallets come with a galvanised finish, but we can also provide pallets that are suitable for Class 8 Corrosive Materials.
Steel and plastic drums are used on worksites across Australia. Commonly found in industries like mining, manufacturing, transport, warehousing and more, these drums are a convenient way to move and store raw materials. But drums can be a serious hazard, which is why Bremco supplies manual drum handling equipment to suit all types of businesses.
