Bremco is committed to improving safety on worksites across Australia. By supplying high quality materials handling equipment, we are doing our part to reduce manual handling and the risk of injury while at work. To ensure our forklift spreaders support staff, each product is delivered in accordance with Australian Standard AS2359.15.
AS2359.15 details safety standards for forklift slippers and spreaders. It restricts the size and shape of forklift slippers, stating that slippers for general use should be no longer than 167% of the supporting forklift tyne length. If the slippers are longer than this, then their use shall be restricted to their specified application. This helps to stabilise fork trucks and reduce the chances of operators becoming injured.
All Bremco products are fully welded and proof load tested prior to shipping. For your records, our range of forklift spreader bar is supplied with compliance information and a unique serial number.
